 Michael Hubbard is an Attorney in Private Practice. He was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from DePaul University College of Law with honors in 1974. Prior to going into private practice Michael was a Manager for Commonwealth Edison Company.

Michael is primarily a Trial Lawyer with litigation experience in Guardianship, Trust, Criminal and White Collar Crimes and Bankruptcy. He  provides services in areas of Estate Planning, Trusts, Guardianship, Medicare and Medicaid Planning. Since 2001 he has concentrated a large portion of his practice to the areas of Elder Law and is often a speaker for churches and civic groups as well as the National Alzheimer's Association.

The other portion of Michael's practice is representing small and medium size manufactures and business in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy proceedings either as the creditor's or debtor's counsel.

He is a Court appointed Attorney and Guardian Ad Litem for Disabled Adults in Cook County.

He is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.

He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also a member and panel Attorney for the Center for Disability and Elder Law and a Member of the Chicago Bar Associations College of Trial Lawyers.

He appeared on the radio as a keynote speaker and panel member discussing mental health issues as they relate to family members.
